Dropping the Atomic Bomb

1. What factors have affected viewpoints on Truman's decision?
Factors:
-Even though America was pushing back the Japanies, our losses were still huge.
-Were were excpected to lose 22000 more men on the mainland.
-Should were warn the Japan people about us using the atomic bomb.

2. Do you think he made the right decision? Give your reasons.
I believe his intentions were good, as in he wanted less casuties for this war, and end this war quicker. But i dont think he should have used it. He could have done thousands of bombing raids and still not have killed as many people. THe civilian casulties were just to high, and he kneew they would be high when he ordered it to drop.
